At Sculpt AZ we strive to deliver the best spray tan Phoenix has to offer. We create a custom color blend for each of our clients because your glow is unique! Each session includes pH balancing spray, lotion for hands and feet, hairnet, and drying powder for after your tan is applied.

SPRAY TAN PREPARATION

Leading Up to Your Custom Spray Tan

  • No waxing services less than 48 hours prior to your spray tan.
  • No nail services, including manicures and pedicures, less than 24 hours prior to your session.
  • No shaving or exfoliation less than 8 hours prior to your appointment.

Women may choose to wear an old swimsuit or underwear during their spray tan session or may also choose to be nude during the treatment. Men must wear underwear or other covering below the waist.

The Day of Your Spray Tan

  • Shower at least 4 hours prior to your customized spray tan. Avoid bar soaps, high pH shower products, and any in-shower moisturizer. No Dove products, please.
  • Skin should be free of any lotions, deodorants, and makeup.
  • Remove all jewelry.
  • To prevent rubbing or staining, wear loose-fitting dark clothing and sandals, preferably flip flops. Please, no bras, socks, or athletic shoes.

SPRAY TAN AFTERCARE

We recommend our Phoenix spray tan clients avoid the gym, pool, hot tub, and any other activity where your skin is exposed to moisture. Our staff will instruct you on how long to wait to bathe, swim, or exercise following your airbrush spray tan. When you are cleared for showering, use cool to warm water to ensure a long-lasting glow, and use only your hand to apply soap. Avoid any harsh soaps or exfoliants. Pat your skin dry with a towel before applying moisturizer. Don’t forget to use sunscreen, as a spray tan will not protect your skin from sunburn, and stay hydrated to keep your healthy glow!

SPRAY TAN MAINTENANCE

Get the most out of your airbrush tan by steering clear of body scrubs and other exfoliants, and avoid prolonged showers or baths in hot water or lengthy soaks in a hot tub. Be mindful at the beach or poolside, as salt water and chlorine can make your custom spray tan fade quickly.

AIRBRUSH SPRAY TAN FAQS

How long will my spray tan last?

With proper aftercare, your tan can last anywhere from 7 to 10 days, depending on how quickly your skin naturally exfoliates itself.

When should I get my spray tan for my wedding or special event?

To look your best, schedule your customized tan two days before your big event. This gives the spray tan enough time to fully develop and for any missed spots to appear and be fixed. We recommend that brides schedule a trial session as close as two weeks prior to the wedding to ensure the perfect shade. Also, keep this in mind as you shop for your perfect dress! Scheduling a trial tanning session helps you find the perfect shade for both your tan and your dress.
